CNC Machine Set-up Technician Temp To Perm

We are looking for a CNC Machine Set-up Technician Temp to Perm person. Pay rate is $25-$30 based on experience. Job duties include assisting the machine shop manager and programmers in setting up and running jobs. We have a machine shop with sophisticated HAAS and Matsuura Machining centers (10 mills and 1 lathe) with 5 axis and pallet changing capabilities. You will work with our QC department to ensure parts meet customer requirements.

Preferred qualifications include the ability to program, design and make fixtures. Additional preferred skills include understanding how to set up and machine castings and hog outs, strong organizational skills, experience with vertical and horizontal mills, experience with lathes, understanding GD&T call outs and requirements, and programming of HAAS CNC machines. Experience using CAM software, designing and creating fixtures, and AS9100 are also pluses.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers, proficiency using precision measuring instruments, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and basic computer knowledge.
