Performs and verifies visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental and chemical inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures. Activities are detail oriented. Employee may be required to work overtime and travel when requested.

• Reviews and approves inspection/test data.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.

• Interface with customer/Government source inspection personnel.
• Maintain inspection records in accordance with company procedures.
• Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process.
• Understand and support the Quality Management System.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

• Must communicate (read and write) in English.
• Must use basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Basic four‑function mathematics, some SPC data collection.
• Must not be color blind, nor noncorrect ably vision impaired.
• Familiar with AS9102 and creating AS9102.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI).
• Three to five (3‑5) years of manufacturing experience.
• Three to five (3‑5) years inspector experience.

Capable of routine manual dexterity, walking, sitting, standing, typing, bending at the neck, climbing and lifting up to twenty pounds when required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
