Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards while supporting compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100D quality management systems. The ideal candidate has a strong aerospace manufacturing background, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer and company requirements.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100D, and internal quality standards.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection processes.
- Identify, document, and track nonconforming materials or products, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Monitor quality metrics and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Stay current on industry standards, quality regulations, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience working in ISO 9001 and AS9100D compliant environments is required.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience with nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
Net Suite experience is a plus. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
