Quality Technician III - 1st Shift
Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Quality Technician III - 1st Shift at our Camarillo, CA facility! Core hours for 1st shift are 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $39.00 per hour. Eaton offers eligibility on day 1 to benefits like medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid parental leave for all, and 401 with match!

What You'll Do:• Maintain, troubleshoot, and validate CMM equipment for the Receiving Inspection and Machine Shop areas.
• Identify and recommend appropriate gaging technology for specific features and tolerances.
• Write and execute CMM programs, design and order fixturing for part layouts, capability studies, and first/last piece inspections for current and new products.
• Attend training sessions as necessary for software updates and improvements.
• Assist Quality Engineers, Supervisor and Quality Manager in the continuous improvement of the CMM support service.
• Support Measurement System Analysis activities such as Gage R&Rs.
• Writing and editing CMM-related Procedures.
• Recognize and recommend potential savings and process improvements.
• Support company quality manual and AS9100 requirements in order to maintain compliance.
• Maintain clean equipment and work area.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience with knowledge of, and experience with, GD&T and hand tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc.).
• No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Camarillo, CA facility will be considered.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
Preferred:
• Experience in a high precision machining environment
• 10+ years CMM programming experience
• Optical Comparator, Rondcom, Trace Experience
• Familiarity with AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
• Degree or certification in Quality Control, Engineering Technology or related field.
