Job Overview

Part‑time Key Holder positions are available at Cotton On. The role involves opening and closing the store, managing the team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Wage: $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

• Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead the store team as part of management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, restocking and merchandising.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Support loss prevention efforts and report any unusual activity.
• Engage with store teams and customers professionally and respectfully.
• Train and mentor new associates as needed.
• Work collaboratively and support a common team goal.
• Maintain a professional presence and motivate and inspire others.
• Act in a respectful manner to customers, managers and peers.

• Retail experience, preferably in fast‑fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic retail principles such as sales, stock, and service delivery.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem‑solving skills; able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1+ year of retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of retail leadership or management experience.

• Move around the store throughout the shift.
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Regularly squat or kneel to access storage or for visual resets.
• Use ladder, step stool or raised platform safely to complete tasks.
