Jr. HVAC Technician

Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Jr. HVAC Technician.

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including rooftop AC units, chillers, humidifiers, boilers, and process cooling water systems.
• Follow written work orders, sketches, and verbal instructions while ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as clearing clogged drains, replacing fixtures, servicing flushometers, and maintaining restroom equipment.
• Support facility operations by escorting third‑party vendors working in controlled areas.
• Help move and set up furniture and equipment in offices, labs, and event spaces.
• Handle interplant deliveries and assist with inventory movement from docks to stockrooms.
• Provide general building maintenance support and assist senior tradespeople with higher‑level tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC training, coursework, or certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to codes and procedures.
• Willingness to perform physically active tasks in a facilities environment.
• US citizenship due to access restrictions.

$44,500.00 - $59,300.00. The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
