* JOB DESCRIPTION

Our customer is looking for an Engineer Software 2 to support their EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you"ll get to develop software to support their Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and their Camarillo, CA office.

Responsibilities:

* Develop embedded real-time system software.

* Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.

* Resolve software and system defects.

* Collaborate with their customers, internal client sites and disciplines.

* Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.

Use project dependent tools including:

* Rational Clear Case, Clear Quest, DOORS.

* Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.

* Ada, C/C++, C#, Python.

* Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software 2:

* BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experience.

* Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.

* Knowledge of object-oriented software development.

* Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.

* Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, Clear Case, etc.)

* US Citizenship required.

* DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 2:

* Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

* Strong collaborative mindset.

* Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.

* Experience programming with Ada language.

* Experience programming with C++ language.

* Experience with real-time embedded software development.

* Experience working in an Agile environment.

* Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
