Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support critical defense programs. In this role, you will develop embedded real-time system software as a member of an agile software team. This position involves collaboration with internal teams and customer representatives, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop embedded real-time system software.

* Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.

* Resolve software and system defects.

* Collaborate with the customer and internal disciplines.

* Participate and contribute to peer reviews and technical meetings.

* Utilize tools such as Rational Clear Case, Clear Quest, DOORS, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.

* Program in Ada, C/C++, C#, and Python on various operating systems including Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux.

Required Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 1 year of experience is required.

Experience:

Must possess experience with a higher-order language such as Ada, C/C++, or C#. Knowledge of object-oriented software development and experience with version control systems (e.g., git, Bitbucket, Clear Case) are necessary.

Clearance: A current DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required. An interim Secret clearance is acceptable. United States Citizenship is a prerequisite for this clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

* Experience working the full software life cycle on a large-scale formal DoD program.

* Experience programming with Ada or C++.

* Experience with real-time embedded software development.

* Experience working in an Agile environment.

* Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
