Receiving Specialist
The Receiving Specialist accurately receives and records incoming products of various sizes, ensuring all items are properly documented in the MRP system and any discrepancies are promptly reported. This role requires strong data entry skills, precise attention to detail, and effective communication with internal stakeholders, including leadership and buyers. Over time, the position can expand to include broader warehouse responsibilities such as stockroom inventory and cycle counts.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming products ranging from very small electronic components to items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, confirming that product descriptions, quantities, and item codes match expected documentation.
- Enter all received products into the MRP or ERP system accurately, including item codes that may be 10–20 characters long, maintaining precise and error-free records.
- Identify and document issues with shipments, such as incorrect products or quantity discrepancies, and promptly notify the Warehouse Supervisor and appropriate internal contacts.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with high-level employees, including leadership who conduct daily walk-throughs of the warehouse, providing clear updates on receiving activities and issues.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
