ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a growing organization in Vancouver, WA, to identify a Project Accountant to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working closely with project teams and wants to take ownership of project-level financial activity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage accounting activities for assigned projects from setup through completion
• Prepare project billing, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Track project costs, expenses, and financial activity
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor project budgets and identify variances
• Assist with month-end close and project-related reporting
• Review AP and AR activity related to assigned projects
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Partner with project managers and operations to resolve accounting issues
• Support financial reporting and other accounting projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with project accounting, job costing, construction accounting, or a project-based environment preferred
