TSMC Washington is seeking an experienced Material Planner with a bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field and 5 years or more of experience in a related position.
Responsibilities include:
As a Material Planner / Procurement Professional, you will be responsible for high-volume, time-sensitive purchasing for a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Duties include delivery scheduling and monitoring of orders, expediting and follow-up as required for smooth and on-time delivery. Negotiation requirements based on Engineering/Manufacturing input, commercial market rates, lead times, single and second source availability, and lifecycle of product/warranty. Responsibilities will also include materials requirements and resource planning.
Substantial Experience (3 to 5 yrs):
Demonstrated success in procurement, supply chain management, or materials planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech industries. Proven Negotiation Abilities:
Exceptional ability to negotiate competitive supplier agreements while driving cost efficiencies and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. ERP Proficiency:
Strong experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for tracking, managing, and analyzing supply chain performance. Exceptional Organizational
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure and deliver results in deadline-driven situations.

This position requires a leader who combines technical expertise, strategic insight, and the ability to drive collaboration across teams, ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ability to remain stationary for long periods, primarily while working at a desk, with occasional movement around the facility. Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations. Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
Responsibilities included:
Transferring new products and technologies from TSMC headquarters. Reviewing daily WAT and online/offline abnormal signal and implementing containment and preventative actions. Collaborating with FAB engineering team to improve yield and WAY stability and reduce process defects. Providing technical support to mixed signal customers. Customized structure process integration development.

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $82,970 and $112,169 per year.
