Who We're Looking For: TSMC, the world's leading independent semiconductor foundry, is seeking highly motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking individuals to join our team as a Equipment Engineer. This pivotal role is located within our fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment at TSMC WA, offering a dynamic range of technical challenges and opportunities for significant impact.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
As an Entry-Level Equipment Engineer, you will be an integral part of one of our specialized equipment engineering teams (e.g., Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, Implanter, Chemical Mechanical Polishing, or Thin Films). Your responsibilities will include:

• Learning and Application:
  Develop a foundational understanding of semiconductor equipment design and operation to support and enhance tool availability.
• Equipment Support:
  Assist in maintaining equipment stability and contribute to improvement initiatives through logical problem-solving.
• Collaborative Environment:
  Work within a dynamic, 24/7 manufacturing environment, collaborating with experienced engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field such as Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Optics.
• Technical Aptitude: A strong interest in technology and a basic understanding of IC processing equipment.

  Basic familiarity with concepts like Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus.
