Our Manufacturing Information Technology team seeks an IT Engineer focused on enhancing semiconductor factory operations. The role involves development, modification, and ongoing maintenance of MES/CIM applications and a suite of vital Manufacturing and Engineering reports. You will contribute to system design, implementation, deployment, and collaborative support for both end-users and internal team members to drive operational excellence.

• Create and maintain IT systems for semiconductor manufacturing Fab including MES, equipment controllers, central CIM systems and reports.
• Perform timely user issue troubleshooting and seek opportunities to improve system baselines.
• Represent IT to work with user groups on total IT solutions in productivity and quality improvement. Work in a team, multitasking, in a dynamic environment.
• Provide regular shift coverage with pager responsibility for off‑hours and weekend on‑call support.

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering (GPA 3.0 or better)
• Proficient in C and Java (on‑site coding test will be conducted)
• 2‑year program development experience using C, Java, VB, and SQL
• Self‑motivated and self‑learnt
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, primarily while working at a desk, with occasional movement around the facility.
• Frequent use of a computer, involving extended screen time.
• Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
• Frequent coordinated use of hands.

This position operates on‑site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; additional hours may be required to meet project demands.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $87,000 and $106,764 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $87,000 – $115,580 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market‑competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
