Audio Engineering Operations Manager

In this role you will be part of the Audio engineering team in Video Collaboration. The team consists of world class engineers and scientists that research, design, develop, and deploy the hardware and software in Logitech's collaboration devices.

As an operations manager, you will be leading the technical coordination of the team's artefacts to the wider engineering teams, whilst driving process and infrastructure excellence across subteams and tribes. The day-to-day operations will involve people, project, and embedded software management skills applied in cross-functional leadership, within the wider engineering and product teams. The role reports directly to the Head of Audio.

  • Manage the end-to-end software (audio algorithms) and firmware release cycles of audio deliveries to the wider engineering teams.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders, ensuring transparent updates and expectation alignment between cross-functional teams.
  • Drive technical project management, overseeing critical priorities, project timelines, and resourcing.
  • Establish and refine system workflows that facilitate efficient and dependable software deployments
  • Influence and drive Dev Ops infrastructure to maintain high-availability CI/CD pipelines and scalable delivery frameworks
  • Manage and mentor technical talent, promoting a culture of professional development and collaboration

Key qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software and/or firmware development, preferably with audio technology or real time systems;
  • 5+ years technical project management experience / Scrum / Agile
  • Proven experience deploying and supporting software products in production environments, relating to linux (Yocto) and android systems
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture, version control, and release management
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in Dev Ops tools for embedded software, or software distribution processes (CI/CD, automated testing, deployment frameworks)
  • Leadership experience in cross functional settings & across timezones
  • Technical management of both hardware and software products
  • Certification in project management or Dev Ops (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer) is advantageous.

Location:

This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate is expected to work onsite at our San Jose, CA office 2–3 days per week, with the remaining days remote. Specific onsite days will be coordinated with your manager and team.

Compensation:
This position offers an annual base salary typically between $140,000 and $174,000. In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
