Manufacturing Technician

Looking to take the next step in your manufacturing career? If you have at least one year of experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment with automated equipment, this night shift Manufacturing Technician opportunity could be a great fit.

This company in Camas, WA is a leading manufacturer of high-power semiconductor and fiber laser technology used in industries including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, and more! This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll support high-volume production by operating automated manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to help keep production running efficiently.

Manufacturing Technician Duties

  • Operate and monitor automated manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues while documenting findings and communicating updates.
  • Support assembly of components using a microscope and tweezers
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment calibrations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following quality procedures.

Pay based on experience: $22.37–$28.00/hour

Schedule:

Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday

  • 5:00 PM–5:15 AM

Manufacturing Technician Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Experience using multimeters, calipers and other mechanical tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, schematics, or technical work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
