Position: Commercial Tile Setter
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20-30 /hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Who We AreOur client is a local Vancouver flooring company seeking highly skilled Commercial Tile Setters/Flooring Specialists to join an extremely busy and year‑round team. What You’ll Do- Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles and into tight spaces using hand and power tools
- Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges
- Work as a team to lay and set tiles for various commercial projects
- Measure and mark surfaces per blueprints
- Finish joints and clean excess grout using a damp sponge
- Remove old tile, grout, and adhesive with chisels and scrapers
- Clean and prep surfaces for installation
- Mix and apply adhesives including mortar, cement, mastic, or glue
- Measure materials and surfaces for accurate installation
- Maintain a clean job site and handle post‑project cleanup

- Ability to follow blueprints and layout plans
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and setting tile
- Knowledge of adhesives and surface preparation
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a Drug Test

- Attention to detail

- Willingness to work on commercial job sites
- Experience with decorative or custom tile work
- Background in additional flooring techniques
- Familiarity with power tools and commercial job site protocols
