Camas, WA 98607
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Pay : $24-$25 per hour
We are a growing property management company dedicated to providing safe, clean, and well‑maintained communities. Our maintenance team is essential to our success, and we're looking for a non‑certified Assistant Maintenance Technician who is reliable, eager to learn, and ready to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
* Support make‑ready operations: painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and unit preparation
* Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
* Help maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed
* Identify and report safety hazards, needed repairs, and supply shortages
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents
Qualifications
* No certification required - training provided
* Experience in maintenance, make‑ready, construction, or related field preferred
* Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
* Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset
