Public Works Department seeking Facilities Operations Specialist with journeyperson level experience in plumbing. Working hours Monday-Friday 7 a.m.

-3:30 p.m. Position represented by AFSCME Local 307-CC bargaining unit and eligible for full benefits package.

Selected individual will perform full range of duties related to maintenance of city facilities (flooring, drywall, carpentry, etc.) with focus on plumbing work.

• Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in plumbing.
• Four years of increasingly responsible experience at journeyperson level plumbing.
• Experience and training equivalent to requirements for a Journeyperson or Washington State license in plumbing.
• Possession of First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Possession of Class A Commercial driver’s license, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Possession of a valid flagging card or ability to obtain within six months.
• Certificates issued by the state to operate as a plumber at a journeyperson level.
