Site Technician

CTR Select is recruiting for a specialist in high‑end interior systems based in Camberley, Surrey and they are seeking a Site Technician to join their installation team. You will be responsible for installing ceiling systems and integrated lighting across projects throughout the UK and occasionally Europe. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role requiring travel, overnight stays, and flexible working hours.

• Prepare and load tools, equipment, and materials for site installations
• Install ceilings, lighting, and related accessories to specification
• Work safely at height using MEWPs, mobile towers, and other access equipment
• Maintain tools, PPE, and vehicles in excellent condition
• Complete site documentation and progress reports
• Support snagging, surveys, and post‑installation maintenance
• Travel across the UK and Europe, including overnight stays

Essential:

• Practical experience in installation, interiors, lighting, or similar trades
• Physically fit and able to work at height
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Ability to read and follow installation drawings
• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS Card, IPAF or PASMA certification
• Willingness to travel, work overnight, and flexible hours
• Good communication and team working skills

Desirable:

• Experience in joinery, AV, lighting, or modular interior installations
• Construction or electrical training/college background
• Swimming ability for occasional water‑adjacent projects

• Competitive salary: £32,000-£40,000 per annum (PPH‑based)

• Overnight allowances for stay‑away projects
