MOT Tester ​/ Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join their growing workshop team. They are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who can work independently and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. Candidates with dedicated MOT testing experience are particularly welcomed, although experienced Vehicle Technicians with an MOT licence will also be considered.

• MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (where qualified)
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
• Complete repair work including clutches, cambelts, suspension and other general mechanical repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

• Previous experience as an MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician
• Valid MOT Testing Licence advantageous
• Strong practical mechanical skills and diagnostic ability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
