Finning is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic/Electrician with a dual ticket to support mining operations. This position focuses on diagnosing issues and repairing Caterpillar generators and systems while engaging with customers and the Finning team. A variety of tasks will ensure your skills are utilized effectively, providing a rewarding experience in northern communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain Caterpillar generators in the powerhouse

• Diagnose and troubleshoot C175 engine and genset repairs

• Complete technical documentation and daily service reports

• Interact with customers and sales support teams

• Collaborate with the Service Supervisor on diverse tasks

Requirements:

• Heavy Equipment Technician or Dual Ticket Electrical and HET certified

• Valid driver’s license with recent abstract

• Prior powerhouse operation experience is an asset

• Experience with supervisory control systems preferred

• Caterpillar power generation experience is beneficial
