• The candidate must install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• The candidate must repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• The candidate must join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• The candidate must determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must hold a Plumber Trade Certification, a Plumber Red Seal Certificate, have completed Confined Space Entry Training, and possess a valid Driver’s License (Class 3 or
  
  D).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.

• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).

• The employer will supply the vehicle for transportation and travel purposes.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

• The candidate must have their own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
• The candidate will receive on-site housing options provided by the employer.
• The employer will provide transportation for the candidate.
