Become an integral part of the Accident Benefits Claims team at Gore Mutual as a Claims Assistant in a hybrid working environment. This role demands keen attention to detail and a strong service orientation.
Gore Mutual is looking for an organized Claims Assistant to support the Accident Benefits adjusting team through various administrative functions including scheduling Insurer Examinations and managing payment orders. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of administrative experience and strong communication skills while working collaboratively with adjusters. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will take on diverse responsibilities that ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule Insurer Examinations in coordination with SABS
• Process payments and communicate with vendors effectively
• Prepare timely LAT files for legal vendor requests
• Match medical data with assigned claims adjusters
• Assemble medical records and communicate with claimants
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in Claims Administration
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Understanding of AB terminology and compliance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks under pressure
