The City of Cambridge seeks an Administrative Assistant for approximately three months to provide essential support to the Fire Chief, Deputy Chiefs, and administrative staff. Key skills include excellent communication, organizational abilities, and proficiency in managing sensitive information. This role is vital for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring effective communication across divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and manage administrative inquiries
• Compile statistical reports and assist in research tasks
• Maintain accurate attendance and payroll records
• Handle departmental invoicing and journal entries
• Support Fire Department events and emergency documentation
Requirements:
• Two-year college diploma in Office Administration
• 1-2 years of related administrative experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of human resources processes is an asset
