Role
Summary:
The Analytics and Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for providing operational support, analysis, and recommendations for a variety of corporate initiatives, leveraging automation and analytics technologies. This role will also assist in the development of process strategies for projects and supporting the process improvement cycle from strategy, analysis, design, and implementation through to monitoring the effective use of new or upgraded processes.
The individual will place a high emphasis on data science practices as it relates to improvements in business decision making and process. They will also be accountable for liaising with various departments to develop action plans and create technical solutions to help address the identified opportunities. The Analytics and Process Improvement Specialist will provide customer and network analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:
Operational Analytics and Data Recommendations – 30%
Leads or supports operational projects; provides analysis and data‑driven recommendations as needed.
Liaise with Operations team members.
Leverages various Development Applications (including but not limited to SQL, Knime, etc.) to conduct deep data analysis on network performance; reports out periodically.
Understands the business problems we are seeking to create solutions for.
Identify KPI’s required and add them to dashboards such as Power
BI.
Provide support for on‑demand data requests from user groups.
Customer‑Specific Lane Optimization – 30%
Manage customer‑specific lane optimization for Challenger’s largest customers on a regular basis.
Lead monthly changeover design within the TMS system to minimize resources and ensure an optimized network.
Leads in Annual Pricing Review of major customers’ business.
Lean Process Improvement Implementation – 30%
Use design thinking methodologies to identify, analyze and document current business processes.
