Become a vital part of BWXT’s mission in nuclear safety as a Human Performance Practitioner in Cambridge, Ontario. You'll integrate safety culture improvement strategies and mentor employees to foster a safety-focused workplace.
In this crucial role, you'll lead initiatives to embed Human Performance principles throughout the organization. You will assist leadership in evaluating safety culture and provide coaching that enhances behaviors and operational effectiveness. Your insights will inform data-driven improvements across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety culture improvements across sites
• Lead initiatives to enhance operational performance
• Partner with teams for gap analysis and solutions
• Train staff on Human Performance principles
• Conduct program evaluations for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Five years of experience in high-risk settings
• Familiarity with INPO standards a plus
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Ability to perform the job's physical requirements
