Position: Financial Planning Supervisor at City
Join the City of Cambridge as a Supervisor of Financial Planning in the Capital and Development department. Oversee capital budgets and support strategic financial planning efforts.

This key role involves supervising financial analysts and ensuring accurate financial oversight on capital initiatives. You will coordinate capital planning efforts while maintaining legislative compliance and managing risks effectively. Collaborating with internal teams, you will enhance financial reporting and analysis, contributing to the city’s growth and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee capital budget preparation and review processes

• Supervise financial analysts in development planning

• Coordinate inputs for capital and development charge alignment

• Review forecasts and compliance of capital projects

• Ensure accurate reporting of tangible capital assets

Requirements:

• University degree in Business or Finance

• CPA designation required

• Four years of municipal financial planning experience

• Advanced Excel skills essential

• Experience with FMW is an asset
