In this pivotal role, you'll manage the day-to-day coordination of the operating budget while supervising a skilled team of financial analysts. Your key focus will be on ensuring the consistency and integrity of the financial information provided. Additionally, you will have a direct impact on process improvement initiatives and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee preparation of operating budgets and multi-year forecasts
• Supervise the work of assigned Financial Analysts
• Support budget development and variance analysis for departments
• Ensure compliance with financial policies during reviews
• Provide financial guidance for reporting and grant applications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• CPA certification is mandatory
• Minimum four years in municipal budgeting
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with FMW
• Valid G driver's license
