Your responsibilities will include overseeing payroll for more than 500 employees across multiple provinces, addressing questions on pay, vacation, and benefits. You will manage enrollments, handle short-term and long-term disability claims, and contribute to year-end payroll obligations. A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are key in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees
• Address payroll and benefit questions from employees
• Manage benefit and pension enrollments and changes
• Handle disability claims processing
• Contribute to year-end payroll tasks and system rollouts
Requirements:
• 1+ years of payroll processing for 300+ employees
• Experience in a unionized environment
• PCP designation preferred or in progress
• Strong communication and detail-oriented skills
• Familiarity with ADP, Ceridian, or Oracle is beneficial
