Oakridge is currently seeking a  dynamic and motivated Grounds Keeping Superintendent  for the Western area to oversee year-round exterior maintenance operations for commercial properties.

Job Duties
Our Grounds Keeping Superintendent works to ensure our crews operate with the utmost care and efficiency to reflect a high standard of workmanship. The following is intended only as a general description and should be considered the minimum required to fulfill this job role.

Maintain knowledge of site layouts and key infrastructure (alarm panels, roof hatches, hydrants, utility rooms, etc.).

Supervise and coordinate multiple grounds-keeping properties & crews.

Manage outdoor janitorial services.

Manage Lawn Maintenance.

Plan and coordinate snow and ice removal operations during winter.

Ensure all work meets contractual scope and service standards.

Conduct site inspections, address maintenance needs, and make timely decisions to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

5 – 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract.

An asset:
Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Construction, Landscape, Applied Technology, or Construction Management
