About the Role

LINQ is seeking motivated, confident, and customer-focused Retail Sales Ambassadors to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on building a strong agency culture and providing meaningful growth opportunities. We are currently hiring for full‑time and part‑time positions across the Gas Program in the Cambridge Area.

As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you will represent leading financial brands in high‑traffic retail locations, malls, and events throughout Hamilton and surrounding communities.

Your role is to engage customers, educate them on financial products, and help match solutions to their needs. Most activations are run in a team‑based, energetic environment
, with ongoing training and support provided.

This position offers guaranteed hourly pay plus uncapped commissions
, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and are motivated by performance‑based earnings.

What You’ll Do
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively approach and engage customers in a friendly, professional, and confident manner
  • Needs Discovery: Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer goals and financial needs

    Clearly explain product features, benefits, and rewards
  • Value Communication: Demonstrate how products provide real value and fit customer lifestyles

  • Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training and stay informed on product updates
  • Reporting: Accurately track customer interactions and sales activity
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post‑secondary education is an asset)
  • Sales or customer‑facing experience preferred (retail, hospitality, promotions, or direct sales)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Goal‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and well‑presented
  • Flexible availability (evenings and weekends required for events)
