Our Cambridge, ON branch is currently looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join their team!
This posting is for a current vacancy. Our hiring team is actively recruiting for this role and will look to onboard following the selection of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
The fire alarm service representative will be required to assist with duties of maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems and other life safety systems as requiredThe successful candidate will ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are metPerform verifications on fire alarm systemsComplete work orders and report in a timely fashionOn-call for emergency service calls/workAct as liaison between customer & TroyOther duties as assigned.Qualifications
Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training or work experience will be an assetPrevious training/experience in fire alarm systems (2+ years)CFAA Certification requiredExperience in performing fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting inspections.Troubleshooting and service experience an assetProficient in the use of computersMust possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving recordExceptional customer service skills and organizational skillsUnderstand and practice applicable ULC, CSA and CanadianElectrical codes and standards which apply to their areaSalary Range: $73,690.50 - $92,118.00 annually
