This developmental position helps familiarize you with the Technician role through Ryder's 18-month training program. You will work closely with a mentor, learning to service and maintain vehicles while evaluating your technical aptitude and culture fit. Expect to perform critical tasks like multi-point inspections, vehicle fueling, and follow all safety protocols in a vibrant, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move and detail heavy-duty vehicles safely
• Conduct multi-point inspections on incoming units
• Attend Technician Training Development Program assessments
• Maintain work and fueling areas to safety standards
• Perform basic facility and maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0-1 year of related work experience
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Valid Driver License needed
