As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for safe line maintenance and working on high voltage systems. Your expertise with heavy equipment and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential. In addition, you will mentor junior staff members and ensure a safe working environment while dealing with electrical systems across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform overhead and underground system maintenance
• Utilize heavy equipment for various maintenance tasks
• Read technical drawings and project specifications
• Ensure safety compliance at all times
• Assist in diagnosing and responding to outages
Requirements:
• Journeyman Power Line person Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in utilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license required
