Position: Waterloo Region Full-Time Roads Maintainer
Support the infrastructure of Waterloo Region as a full-time Roads Maintainer. Drive maintenance excellence through diverse tasks including snow control and road repairs.

As part of the South Patrol Yard team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regional roads and ensuring public safety. This full-time position requires expertise in operating various vehicles and equipment, with an emphasis on hands-on maintenance work. At least two years of experience in a similar role is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform checks and maintenance of road maintenance equipment

• Operate tandem-axle dump trucks for material transport

• Execute winter snow removal and salting tasks

• Cut vegetation and maintain road aesthetics

• Install and manage snow fences to enhance safety

Requirements:

• Two years of direct experience in roads maintenance

• Valid class D driver's license with Z endorsement

• Familiarity with equipment operation and safety protocols

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members

• Must complete a physical demands assessment
