Loom Mechanic Manufacturing Training

Use mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills as a Manufacturing Mechanic with MW Canada in Cambridge, Ontario. Hands-on training is provided.

MW Canada seeks a Manufacturing Mechanic, internally known as a Loom Mechanic, to maintain industrial weaving equipment. You will learn specialized textile machinery skills through company-provided training. The work includes equipment setup, preventative maintenance, repairs, manuals, and basic electrical controls.

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial weaving equipment
• Assist with equipment setups and changeovers
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify mechanical issues
• Record maintenance activities and communicate equipment concerns
• Follow safety procedures and maintain organized work areas

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using hand, power, and measuring tools
• Ability to follow diagrams, instructions, and equipment manuals
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
