Responsibilities
- Utilize organizational skills and experience to provide preeminent affordable housing accommodations in the community.
- Interact with prospective and current residents to create a welcoming experience and foster community.
- Process certifications (initial, interim, annual), calculate retroactive rent and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Collect necessary documentation from residents and process verifications.
- Apply correct rents for annual and interim recertification and adjust as needed to remain compliant.
- Review and finalize HUD 50059 forms.
- Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain rent calculations to residents according to HUD guidelines.
- Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accuracy and detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision, thriving in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
- Experience processing high-volume HUD Project-Based Section 8 and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) recertifications.
- Real Page One Site experience is a plus.
- Notary public license is a plus.
- OS/BOS credentials or COS/TCS/BOS credentials are a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. - Strong accountability, reliability, and proactive problem solving; collaborative, resident-centered approach.
- Hourly rate: $31.25 per hour.
- Annual performance bonus.
- Position is non-exempt; eligible for overtime pay.
