Position: PLATING ENGINEER (F/M)

Plating Engineer

EGIDE USA, INC. is hiring. Join our innovative engineering team and take ownership of our plating operations for high-reliability, hermetically sealed micro-electronic packaging serving aerospace, military, and commercial applications. As a Plating Engineer at Egide, you will work with cutting-edge glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal sealing technologies, as well as high-temperature co-fired ceramics. Join our AS9100 certified and ITAR registered facility, where you'll be part of a dedicated team that enjoys experiments, learning, and striving to exceed customer expectations.

Your missions:

  • Set up, qualify, and maintain plating equipment and processes
  • Create and update plating work instructions and train operators
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain process control, safety, and cleanliness in plating operations
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Support continuous improvement projects and capital expenditure planning

Profile/

Education:

Bachelor's in Chemistry or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent work experience) with minimum 5 years of plating engineering experience. You have expertise in electrofinishing, electroless plating, passivation, and chemical processing. Strong knowledge of chemical reactions, titrations, annealing, and waste treatment processes required. Excellent communication skills, team collaboration abilities, and hands-on troubleshooting expertise. Knowledge of ICP and ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Full-time position (40 hours per week)

Schedule:

6:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday Comprehensive benefits package (Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, 401K match) Must be U.S. Citizen (ITAR requirements)
