Information Technology Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist - 3 month contract Onsite in Cambridge, MD

Provide routine IT support for the staff in the plant. This person will be the boots on the ground in the plant for the personnel who mainly have Lenovo laptops with Windows 11 and Acer Monitors, they access HR applications and SAP for the manufacturing programs and other ERP (they do have a few mac’s but not many). You will be the Plant liaison for anything IT related.

If you can't fix you will put in a ticket and then follow through to completion. Swapping out and ordering new laptops, working with vendors to get printer back online etc. You will be a very important resource to the plant personnel, you will work closely with the Plant Manager.

• Provide routine IT support for the staff in the plant.
• Act as the boots on the ground for personnel with Lenovo laptops and Acer Monitors.
• Access HR applications and SAP for manufacturing programs and other ERP.
• Serve as the Plant liaison for IT-related issues.
• Put in tickets for issues that cannot be fixed immediately and follow through to completion.
• Swap out and order new laptops as needed.
• Work with vendors to get printers back online.
• Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager.

• Experience with Lenovo laptops and Windows 11.
• Familiarity with HR applications and SAP.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
