Are you a hands-on maintenance expert who thrives on solving complex problems and keeping equipment in top shape? As a Senior Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be a key player in ensuring our manufacturing facility operates at peak performance while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.
Schedule: Tues - Fri - 5:00am to 3:30pm (Mondays Off)
Flexibility for overtime, weekends, or call-ins as needed
Hourly: $25 - $35 per hour
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and ensure equipment is mechanically sound.
- Handle electrical troubleshooting and apply general electrical knowledge.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Apply facilities maintenance knowledge to keep the plant running efficiently.
- Share expertise and spread knowledge to the team through mentoring and collaboration.
- Maintain a safety-first mindset in all tasks and promote a culture of safety.
- Adapt to changing workflows and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with production and vendors for specialized repairs.
- Use sound knowledge of pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Minimum 6 years in an industrial maintenance role with proven technical proficiency.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- General electrical knowledge and ability to diagnose issues.
- Facilities maintenance experience.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor and lead by example.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- HVAC and fabrication experience are a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time with assistance.
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift.
- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity, control precision, and near vision.
