Salary Range: $16.00 To $17.00 Annually

Summary of the Position:

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, leading production staff, and ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This role serves as a hands-on leader on the production floor, acting as the primary point of contact between operators and management.

Education/Qualification Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (Preferred)
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Enforces company policies pertaining to Safety, Food Safety and GMPs.
  • Ensure production schedules are met in accordance with deadlines, and adjust staffing and workflow as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor production team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Help manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Assist with addressing production issues, whether related to machinery, personnel, or materials, and provide effective solutions with positive behavior.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Makes reasonable and effective decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Assist with quality checks throughout the production process and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Reports issues, problems, unsafe conditions, equipment losses or failure and staff challenges to Manager and / or HR.

  • Knowledge of production systems, manufacturing processes, and quality control techniques.
