University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science is seeking an Assistant Research Scientist-Oyster Larval Transport at the Horn Point Laboratory to lead hydrodynamic and larval transport modeling efforts for the Herring Bay Sanctuary project.
The successful candidate will run ROMS, implement LTRANS, analyze outputs, and collaborate with scientists and managers to inform oyster restoration planning. A Ph.D. is required, with strong programming skills in R, Matlab, and Fortran.
