Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and ensure equipment is mechanically sound.
  • Handle electrical troubleshooting and apply general electrical knowledge.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Apply facilities maintenance knowledge to keep the plant running efficiently.
  • Share expertise and spread knowledge to the team through mentoring and collaboration.
  • Maintain a Safety-First mindset in all tasks and promote a culture of safety.
  • Adapt to changing workflows and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with production and vendors for specialized repairs.
  • Use sound knowledge of pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repairs.
Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Minimum 6 years in an industrial maintenance role with proven technical proficiency.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • General electrical knowledge and ability to diagnose issues.
  • Facilities maintenance experience.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor and lead by example.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • HVAC and fabrication experience are a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time with assistance.
  • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity, control precision, and near vision.
