The City of Cambridge is hiring a Sewer Maintenance Worker I, an entry-level role in which you learn sewer and storm drain maintenance under close supervision. You will inspect and repair mechanical equipment, help install and service sewer lines, clear backups, maintain lift stations (including mowing and using a crane truck to pull pumps), and repair or raise damaged or buried manholes.

Requirements are a high school diploma or GED, about six months of mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license acceptable to the City’s insurer.
