Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Bus Drivers.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate a Dorchester County School Bus;
* Maintain regular paperwork associated with transporting students;
* Perform Pre and Post trip inspections of buses;
* Monitor student while bus is in transit;
* Maintain cleanliness of bus;
* Assist with transportation of bus to garage for service as needed;
* Attend necessary training classes;
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate;
* Must be currently certified as a Maryland School Bus Driver;
* Meet all Motor Vehicle Administration and State Department of Education requirements for school vehicle drivers;
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
