Senior Tax Accountant

A nationally recognised top 100 public accounting firm is looking to add a Tax Senior to its growing team in Massachusetts
.

As a Tax Senior, you'll take ownership of client engagements from planning through to completion while working with a diverse client base across a range of industries.

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, trust, and multi-state returns

• Lead tax engagements from planning through completion while managing budgets and deadlines.
• Research complex tax issues and provide planning strategies to clients.
• Respond to IRS and state tax authority enquiries.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value.

• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred).
• CPA licence or actively working towards CPA certification.
• Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess or similar.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
