Controller Position

A boutique Real Estate Investment firm in Boston is looking to add a Controller to their team. This individual will oversee their accounting and finance functions for both corporate and deals-related activity. It is a high visibility position that will play a key role in decision making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Management of daily financial operations
• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance teams
• Financial modeling for deals-related activity
• Process improvement/development of policies and procedures
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Supervise accounts payable and billing
• Build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of accounting experience (Real Estate industry)
• Blend of commercial and residential real estate
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Partnership tax knowledge
• Advanced Excel experience
