Job Overview

We are seeking organized, reliable, and detail-oriented professionals to support exam administration for a Testing Center at Harvard University. Testing Center staff will assist with the scheduling, coordination, and proctoring of student examinations while ensuring compliance, security, and appropriate accommodations for students. This role requires excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to support faculty, students, and internal academic stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating exam schedules, space assignments, and accommodations
  • Monitoring students during exams to ensure integrity and compliance
  • Providing instructions to students and clarifying exam procedures
  • Collecting, securing, and accounting for exam materials
  • Serving as point-of-contact for faculty, students, and proctors
  • Communicating exam-related questions or issues to appropriate personnel
  • Assisting with check-in/check-out processes
  • Maintaining exam records, logs, and documentation
  • Basic administrative work including email communication, phone support, scheduling, and file management
  • Troubleshooting basic exam room or equipment issues
  • Ensuring testing spaces are prepared and meet accommodation requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of administrative, academic, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and integrity standards
  • Ability to circulate through exam spaces and navigate multiple rooms/buildings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (exam materials, equipment, etc.)
