PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Laboratory for Nuclear Science - AI+Science Initiative will coordinate and perform operational and administrative activities for the MIT AI+Science Initiative within the School of Science, including administration, finance, communications, outreach, and other functions; and provide advanced administrative support for the Director of the initiative.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of project/program management experience;
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills;
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing high-quality activities, programs and services;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others, while also working autonomously;
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries and requests related to the work area in a timely manner;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office software;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Professional attitude, maturity, and strong customer service skills;
• Must be able to use judgment, and recognize the need for a high level of confidentiality;
• Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.

This is a two-year term, part-time position at 20 hours per week (50% effort). Accordingly, the annual salary range is $32,000 to $39,600 which corresponds to a full-time equivalent salary range of $62,000 to $79,200.
