Overview
Draper is an independent, nonprofit research and development company headquartered in Cambridge, MA. The team of over 2,000 employees tackles important national challenges across multiple disciplines, including defense, space exploration, and biomedical engineering.
Responsibilities- Answering and screening telephone calls
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes and correspondence
- Create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations
- Schedule coordination, arrange appointments and itineraries
- Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls and complete expense reports
- Maintain general office supplies and order project materials
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Coordinate clearance and badge requests
- Ensure required internal paperwork and documents are maintained for audit compliance
- Coordinate internal moves and facilities rearrangement, maintenance and custodial requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Place P‑Card orders for various materials
- Track capital expenditures (equipment, facilities upgrades, etc.)
- Act as timesheet proxy for department staff
- Highly proficient administrative support skills and office application skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Highly proficient in all communication skills (phone, verbal and written)
- Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with poise and professionalism
- Ability to proofread and edit written documents
- Strong organizational, coordination and judgment skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
3‑5 years of administrative assistant experience required.

SalaryUS base salary range: $24.00 – $40.80 per hour.
